A country brewery in Maitland, NSW has reported increased productivity and reduced costs from transitioning their phone system and business technologies to OneHub Business in October this year.
Steve (Digga) Griffiths runs the team at Country Brewer Maitland, serving locally brewed beer to locals and travellers for the past six to ten years. They pride themselves on quality product and friendly service, and this is what first drew Digga to the NSW Optus Business Centre.
“The thing I appreciate most of all is dealing with people, not a machine,” Digga said.
“[The solutions consultant’s] business approach and inside knowledge are awesome, making things easy to understand in a very short time,” he said.
He had previously struggled with another provider, wasting time on hold and struggling to get support.
“Obviously every owner wants to save money but AJ went further by also promising that we would be looked after by the business team at Thornton, which would save us time and reduce frustration,” Digga said.
According to Steve, the most significant source of frustration in dealing with Telstra was “long waits and people who don't speak English well.”
Since moving over to OneHub and getting a dedicated account manager Digga reports his business is now running smoothly.
“The changeover has not been smooth due mainly to Telstra but AJ kept me up to date and stepped in constantly to make it as simple for me as possible,” Digga said.
“His promises have been backed up by the Optus team and things are now running smoothly,” he said.
On top of the better service, Digga discovered the coverage was significantly better using an Optus system, especially in country areas.
He also reported he has reduced costs and increased productivity because of “the increased service and saving heaps on the monthly bill.”
“[That] is why I have recommended to others that changing to Optus is a pleasure.”
